KHS Ahupua'a T-Shirt
KHS Ahupua'a T-Shirt
This T-Shirt was launched in collaboration with our December 2021 installment of the From the Collection series, a free virtual program that highlights the Society’s archives, historic sites, and the people and places of our community. The recording is available on our website.
Guest speaker Conall Kahaka'ioikamalie Ravenscraft presented a personal journey retracing family history and ancestral connections (after a separation of two generations) to the area of Nāpōʻopoʻo through our archive's collection of historic photographs, research notes, and documentation.
Conall Kahakaʻioikamalie Ravenscraft is a generational descendant of South Kona, with family roots in the areas of Nāpōʻopoʻo and Keʻei. Kahakaʻio dedicates much of his time to the perpetuation of cultural heritage and history as a heiau practitioner stewarding the Hale o Keawe and Hikiau sites in Hōnaunau and Kealakekua and also through his work as a park interpreter at Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park.
All proceeds from t-shirt sales support the overall operations of archive, preservation and programs.
Mahalo for your support!
