MESSAGE FROM BOARD PRESIDENT
Kona Historical Society is excited to announce that Kuʻulani Auld has been named Interim Executive Director, succeeding Dance Aoki, who recently accepted a position that will ultimately take her to Los Angeles. We thank Dance for her many contributions during her time at KHS and wish her well in her future endeavors.
Kuʻulani is excited to help guide KHS into its future, through the uncertainty and tumultuous times that all organizations are facing during the pandemic. Her more than 25 years of knowledge and experience in every area of our mission including Program Development, Archive Preservation, and Community Engagement assures the KHS leadership of her ability to navigate these uncharted waters. We are grateful and blessed to have someone of her talents at the helm. She is an invaluable resource of knowledge of Kona’s history and heritage.
Please help us welcome Kuʻulani to her new role at KHS.
