KALOKO MAUKA RESIDENT
Photo 1: With hours being severely cut at my job, I’m able to spend more time gathering fish for family and friends. This massive ulua swam up to me and I speared it during a dive in North Kona. I shared it with many families.
Photo 2: Camping has always been one of my wife and I’s absolute favorite things to do! I’ll always look back on this weird COVID-19 “quarantine life” and be thankful we were able to put the truck in 4WD and quarantine ourselves for days at a time at secluded beaches around the island.
Photo 3: We couldn’t think of a better place to quarantine than on a boat with some of our best friends. The trade winds died and we were able to explore a special coastline seldom seen.
