Giving Tuesday – Tuesday, December 3, 2024
The Kona Historical Society has long been a guardian of our collective history, tirelessly preserving the stories, artifacts, and traditions that make our community unique. However, our ability to continue this vital work hinges on the generosity of supporters like you.
Your donation is an investment in the legacy of Kona. With your support, we can continue to expand our educational programs, particularly for our keiki and youth programs - though we have things of interest for everyone, from our keiki to our kupuna!
You can help us maintain our historical sites – including the H.N. Greenwell Store Museum and the Kona Coffee Living History Farm. In particular, we hope to install a gate at our Kealakekua location with the H.N. Greenwell Store Museum with the funds raised. The new gate will be a welcoming threshold into our Kona history and will lead the way for our visitors to delve even deeper into the fascinating stories that shape our identity.
Please consider making donation on Giving Tuesday! Any donation, big or small, will have a big impact to help Kona Historical Society as we carry out our mission!
We would also love to see you – stop by on Thursdays around 10am to help make Portuguese bread (or stop by around 1pm to buy the delicious bread!). Visit us during December for the Mouse House exhibit in the H.N. Greenwell Store Museum and celebrate Christmas at Kalukalu on December 14th from 3pm-5pm. Hope to see you at Kalukalu this Season!
Mahalo Nui!
