Giving Tuesday – Tuesday, December 2, 2025
The Kona Historical Society has long been a guardian of our collective history, tirelessly preserving the stories, artifacts, and traditions that make our community unique. However, our ability to continue this vital work hinges on the generosity of supporters like you.
Your donation is an investment in the legacy of Kona. With your support, we can continue to expand our educational programs, particularly for our keiki and youth programs - though we have things of interest for everyone, from our keiki to our kupuna!
You can help us maintain our historical sites – including the H.N. Greenwell Store Museum and the Kona Coffee Living History Farm.
In particular, this year we hope to purchase three new picnic tables to replace our current, well-worn tables. We need about $300 per table ($900 total)…and if you donate enough to buy one table, we’ll put your name on it!
We also hope to fund various health & safety items, including: purchase much-needed signage around the site; fix a door frame; and purchase a new event tent (targeting $2,000).
Please consider making a donation on Giving Tuesday! Any donation, big or small, will be impactful as the Kona Historical Society carries out its mission!
We hope to see you as well! Visit us during December for the Mouse House exhibit in the H.N. Greenwell Store Museum and celebrate Christmas at Kalukalu on December 13th. Hope to see you at Kalukalu this Season!
Mahalo Nui!
